Worship Group

Berlin Cathedral is well known beyond the city limits for the special nature of its services. But without volunteers this would not be possible. The men and women are entrusted with a variety of different tasks: whether it be as readers, dispensing Holy Communion, collecting the offertory or distributing programmes of service.

The helpers meet every two months. In this Group all the important things are discussed, and the major celebratory services of worship are organised.

• Readings of the readers
• Dispensing Holy Communion
• Collecting the offertory
• Distributing programmes for the service of worship

• Readers and Holy Communion helpers require internal training by the Cathedral

• Helpers get together every 2 months for approximately 1 hour
• The amount of time is self-determined
