Place of tranquillity

Please note: Due to the renovation work on the crypt floor, the Room of Silence is temporarily closed. With the completion of the Hohenzollern crypt, the Room of Silence will also be accessible again as a place of contemplation and prayer.

The Place of Silence and Prayer has been available in the Berlin Cathedral since the fall of 2013. This small, quiet devotional space, located next to the baptismal and wedding church, is freely accessible to visitors from the outside, even without admission.
