Place of tranquillity and prayer

A place of tranquillity and prayer has been in place at Berlin Cathedral since autumn 2013. This small, peaceful prayer room which is located next to the Baptismal and Matrimonial Church (Tauf- und Traukirche) is also freely accessible to outside visitors.

The entrance is clearly visible, and is located on the castle side of Berlin Cathedral (Karl-Liebknecht-Straße).

Opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 11 AM till 5 PM.

The place of tranquillity and prayer gives all individuals the opportunity for brief inward reflection, to pray and light a candle, and to enjoy a moment of rest. Visitor numbers to date reveal the need for such a place of reflection and calm within the hustle and bustle of everyday life in a burgeoning metropolis.
